Save the Date for the 2020 Celebrating Home & Community Gala

Join us on October 29, 2020 to celebrate Breaking Ground's 30 years of service to New York City and to honor a distinguished individual who has helped millions of Americans, and countless New Yorkers, find a home through the financing of affordable and workforce housing.

Each year, the Celebrating Home & Community Gala raises vital funding to strengthen Breaking Ground's street outreach, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing programs serving New Yorkers who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.

The COVID-19 outbreak has shone a spotlight on the importance of having a home — a secure place to help foster health and overall well-being, and to limit the spread of a highly infectious disease among community members. Breaking Ground’s programs and housing help homeless New Yorkers attain that essential security for themselves and for all of us who call New York City our home.
