Andy D'Amico of UAG Joins Breaking Ground Board

At Breaking Ground, we continue to grow our portfolio of supportive and affordable housing that is home to vulnerable New Yorkers from all walks of life. And after 32 years of service to New York City, we continue to evolve. Today, we were proud to announce the appointment of Andy D'Amico, Founding President and CEO of Urban Atelier Group (UAG), to our board of directors.

“We are so pleased to welcome Andy to the Breaking Ground team,” said Brenda Rosen, President and CEO of Breaking Ground. “Andy joins us at a critical time as we push toward delivering over 1,200 new supportive and affordable apartments across New York City in the next five years. His breadth of experience in real estate development and construction management will be a strong addition to the board. We look forward to his contributions and are honored that he chose to devote his time and talents to our mission.”

Andy is Founding President and CEO of Urban Atelier Group (UAG), a boutique construction management firm headquartered in New York City. UAG’s culture is rooted in the ethos of an atelier, viewing itself as a creative workshop where each member has a voice and the ability to elicit change. The firm offers expertise, accountability, and transparency at every stage of the construction process, and some of its most notable and recent work includes Bronx Point, Olympia Dumbo, 100 Flatbush, and Morgan North. Prior to founding UAG, Andy was Vice President at Hunter Roberts Construction Group and Pre-construction Manager at Clark Construction.
