Save the Date for the 2022 Celebrating Home & Community Gala

Join us on October 20, 2022 to celebrate Breaking Ground's 32 years of service to New York City and to honor a distinguished individual who is committed to the creation and preservation of affordable housing across the country.

Each year, the Celebrating Home & Community Gala raises vital funding to strengthen Breaking Ground's outreach and housing programs serving New Yorkers who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

This is a critical time for New York, confronting serious challenges in the wake of the pandemic, including a rise in unsheltered homelessness. People experiencing homelessness on the City's streets face extreme obstacles to overcoming a terrible condition, foremost among them the lack of a dignified and secure place to call home. Breaking Ground’s interventions help homeless New Yorkers attain that essential dignity and security for themselves and for our entire society.
