Resources and Benefits for Social Workers
Clinical hours toward LCSW and LMHC licensure
Breaking Ground provides eligible employees in good standing a pathway to LCSW/LMHC licensure. Social workers shape the quality-of-service delivery in our programs and buildings, and we are committed to the development and retention of high-performing social workers providing clinical leadership to our staff and direct care to our consumers.
Additional compensation for LCSWs providing clinical supervision hours to LMSW/MHC employees
Breaking Ground appreciates the important role of the LCSW supervisor in developing our social work professionals. Therefore, LCSWs providing clinical supervision of clinical hours of LMSW/MHC employees are eligible to receive $500 per LCSW/MHC supervisee every 6 months.
Additional compensation for providing field instruction/supervision to social work interns
Breaking Ground supports its qualifying social work professionals with gaining experience as a field supervisor, which includes additional compensation for providing supervision and the opportunity to obtain SIFI certification. Field instructors (for MSW, BSW, or similar interns/externs) are eligible to receive $500 per student per semester and task supervisors are eligible to receive $250 per student per semester.
Free virtual Continuing Education credit hours (CEUs)
Free Continuing Education credit hours (CEUs) are available in Relias, Breaking Ground’s online learning management system. Staff are encouraged to take full advantage of this resource. To identify and earn CEUs, learners must enter their professional license information into their profile.
Reimbursement for credentialing fees
Breaking Ground offers reimbursement for LMSW and LCSW exams, initial licenses, registration renewals, and MHC limited permits and license registration.
