Breaking Ground collaborated with East Brooklyn Congregations to bring Redwood Senior Living to the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. Redwood’s 80 permanently affordable apartments are designed to enable seniors (62 and older) to age-in-place – both unit and building amenities are equipped with the necessary physical attributes for older adults, and onsite services and programming are inspired by our recent ECHO (Elder Care Health Outreach) pilot program.
