2025 TCS New York City Marathon

At Breaking Ground, we believe everyone deserves a home. Our continuum of outreach and housing programs serve more than 15,000 vulnerable New Yorkers each year, and more than 5,000 children, women, and men sleep under a Breaking Ground roof every night.

Team Breaking Ground is able to provide three (3) guaranteed entries into the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. Runners commit to raising funds in support of work to help people come off the streets and secure long-term stability in housing. Team Breaking Ground runners will receive:

• Personal fundraising page, with fundraising support from Breaking Ground
• Custom Team Breaking Ground dry-fit shirt
• Guaranteed entry into the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon
• Warm and fuzzy feeling that you are helping New Yorkers in need to overcome and avoid homelessness

Team Breaking Ground commitment:

• Our three (3) charity entry runners commit to raising $5,000 by Friday, October 24, 2025 for Breaking Ground’s outreach and housing programs.
• Non-charity entry runners, those who already have a spot in the marathon, but want to fundraise on our behalf, must commit to raising $1,000 by Friday, October 24, 2025. These team members will receive all team members benefits except the guaranteed race entry. 
• In addition to the fundraising pledge, all Team Breaking Ground runners are responsible for purchasing their own race registration.

Team member responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed fundraising minimum by Friday, October 24, 2025
• Coordinate and purchase all travel and hotel arrangements
• Purchase 2025 TCS New York City Marathon race registration through New York Road Runners
