Jacqueline Gikow moved into The Christopher in 2008. A writer and artist, she was happy to find an affordable apartment in the city. She takes part in building activities and is in an environment that nurtures her creativity.

Jacqueline’s artistic career has included pottery, graphic design industrial design and jewelry making. Ever since she can remember, art in some shape or form has been her passion. Jacqueline graduated from The College of Ceramics at SUNY with a BFA in sculpture and art history. She also has an MFA from Arizona State University in environmental design and an MID in industrial design from Pratt Institute. For seven years, she was a tenure track design professor at Trenton State College in New Jersey. Jacqueline has also written and had published two books: Graphic Illustration in Black and White and Polymer Clay: Creating Functional and Decorative Objects.
